Mark the Watson name at Christmas with this 3-inch round ceramic ornament, featuring a crest design and motto on a tartan background and printed on both sides.
Watson is a Scottish patronymic meaning “son of Wat,” with Wat a medieval short form of Walter. The surname arose independently in multiple family lines; some Watson lines are associated with Clan Buchanan, while the Watsons of Saughton form a separately documented chiefly tradition.
