 About: 'Nursing Mother - study' is a work that Sam plans to create larger in the near future, and feels is significant in this stage of her life with four children frequenting her lap.

About the Art: In preparation for larger works in oil paint, Sam often works through her ideas, composition, value, color, etc with watercolor studies. They express raw emotion and simpleness in execution, that can have a different effect on the soul than a fully developed painting. 

About the Artist: Sam Newton is a mother and homeschooler to her 4 children, and a fine artist. She primarily paints sacro-figurative work as well as landscapes as glimpses of Gods creations.
