About the Artist: Colter May is a Provo Utah based artist fascinated by the west. Through the use of organic texture, vibrant color, and western symbolism Colter creates paintings that connect our modern world to our primitive human roots. While Colter has studied in a variety of mediums and artistic styles, each piece he creates stems from the deep reverence he holds for the American West. Whether it's a brilliant sunset scene or simple wildlife symbolism on a bold textured surface, Colter's goal is the same; to honor the grandeur of the west.
