About the Artist: Amy Stephensen—a Sandpoint, Idaho resident—currently teaches art at a small junior/senior high school, while also raising twin boys, a small flock of Icelandic sheep, and fitting in as much creative time as possible. Her first memories are filled with art making, having grown up in a home filled with creative energy (her mother an artist and her father a skilled woodworker). This upcoming winter, the family plans to travel to Alaska to support her husband who will be running the Iditarod sled dog race as a rookie.
