She lives in West with her husband Kris and newest baby girl Summer. Jaime loves to embrace anything feminine and while other’s might view femininity as frivolous or not to be taken seriously, she believes it is important work to be shown and respected and heard. I have often heard of Mother Earth but I wanted a Mother Sky. I used to work as a florist and I was interested in the way we discuss the “relationship” between flowers when you create an arrangement. I wanted to represent a “relationship” of a mother and child interpreted as a floral arrangement. Flowers on the side of the path, trees to explore, a field to escape to for a while. Life is about joy not about checking things off of a list. I have been mesmerized by clouds for the past couple of years because they feel like paintings in the sky. When the sun shines through them I feel hope, peace, and love of a creator who is there. I thought I would feel this tragic separation from creativity and instead I found creativity in so many aspects of Motherhood.
